Message receipt but we both know you couldnt just show up in dallas with $25 on friday and go do the TMS thing, you had to pay for the convention itself at a minimum. My tab for the convention was about $300 and more than once I felt like no one had a clue what was going on during the week. But really TMS was the one instance of lack of communication that ended up adversely affecting how an event ran.

Spee seems to think simply because in hindsight it was all so clear to him and so easily figured out (truth is probably more like he didnt know shit about the rules, much like you, me, dustin, the event staff, and almost everyone else there until guapo or nixit told him, but it's clear he'd never admit it) that everyone should just figure out how events are run and that it is not the organizing body's responsibility to ensure the rules are clearly, plainly, and fully laid out in order for events like TMS to be successful, as opposed to how it turned out.

Oh and the car show....yeah, $40 or $50 plus $10 to enter (right?) and lunch was a box-nasty with a small turkey or ham sandwich, a fruit cup, a pasta cup a cookie and a tiny 8 or 10 oz bottled water. Maybe the lack of communication was by design? Had I known what I was getting as a non-entry, I would have kept my 40-50 bucks and gone to the nearest steakhouse and eaten like a king and tipped the guy 15 bucks.
Again, had I not gotten the pics and vids I was looking to get that week and meet all the people I got to meet to make up for it, I would have been a bit more disgruntled.
